Al Ain - The Roberts Family

Miranda has many interests. She is a pianist. She is a wonderful cook, and has skills in cake decoration and sugar flower making beyond those of many professionals. She is a versatile dress maker. She is active in the Ladies International Circle of Al Ain, and served on the committee as Vice President (1996-97) and Newsletter Editor (1997-98). She is a talented lady.

Music Teaching

This year she entered twenty two students for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (London) Piano and Music Theory exams. All passed, ten with Distinction and six with Merit. She is pictured below with some of her students after a recent concert held at the Intercontinental Hotel, Al Ain.

Cake Decorating

Miranda has made and decorated cakes for many special occasions. Here are three examples. The two children's cakes were for our daughters' birthdays. The wedding cake was for our friends Mary and Stefan. All of the frills and the flowers on top are hand-made from sugar paste.
